Mages Guild baffles me (I am trying to proceed in the Mages guild) but they keep saying I don't have what it takes to progress (I think I have moved up a couple ranks). I kept a non-magic one just in case, but maybe there is no need for that? The Dwemer Jinksword I got early on really helped - View image here: - but now I have a glass paralyze one. I am now carrying about 7-8 weapons (long/short sword/axe - mostly magic). Or am I on track? What's the highest level? I just got a lot of money from the Dren Plantation so money is not as much of a issue-actually after finding Creeper I don't think money is an issue at all. Should I be farther? At level 12, I have the feeling that I should be much farther along, playing in +- 1 hour spurts probably doesn't help. I accidentally joined the Redoran house, can I un-join/is there a reason to do this? Is there a downside to joining factions? I'm in the Fighters, Theives and Mages and am being asked to do a Fighters task with a Thieves member that I can't seem to do (code book). Lately, I have started focussing on doing one thing at a time, but this causes lots of travel. I now have 80 or more pages, with lots of never completed quests and completed ones (these seem to require 2 or more entries each). Just choosing different talk dialogs can cause things to go into the journal (right). I wanted to wait awhile before asking for some guidance. I think my play time is about 50-70 hours and I am now at level 12. This is my first RPG, not including Deus Ex. The last quest for the Fighter's Guild and the last quest for the Thieves Guild are the same, so I plan to do then together and get credit for both.OK, here's the deal, I've been playing Morrowind (XBox if that matters) for a while now and I have a feeling that I am not doing things right. I plan to complete the DLC quests (working on them now), then join the Thieves Guild and complete their quests. (Percius gave me the first of the last two quests, but I'm ignoring it for now.) But I'm pretty sure this works. Those quests will make you the leader of the fighters, without doing any quests that cause problems with the Thieves Guild.įYI, I have completed most of the above steps, but haven't performed the last two quests to become the leader of the Fighter's Guild and I haven't joined the Thieve's Guild yet. Once you've done all of that, you should now have enough reputation points to get the final two fighter's guild quests from Percius in Ald-Rhun. Complete most of the other quest lines, but not Thieves Guild. Do not do any quests for Sjoring-Hard Heart.Ĭomplete the main quest, including the sleeper quest. If you accepted the Lirielle's debt quest, either don't do it or pay it out of your own pocket.ĭo all of Hruni's quests in Wolverine Hall and do the first four quests for Percius Mercius' quests in Ald'ruhn. (And let the Argonian run away for the second quest.) You can talk to Percius Mercius in Ald'ruhn if you need help determining which to do. Only do three quests for Lorbumol gro-Aglkh in Vives. Stop taking quests from her before getting the Code Book Quest, or if you accidently get it, ignore it and don't do it. Alternatively: (first four bullets in any order, including at the same time)
